Flip Flappers

Don't overlook this unique, impressive, and gorgeous show

(Edit) Updated 10/06/2020

Amazing blend of magical girl, friendship, and fantasy. So far, this is the best 2016 anime I've seen. I love the variety; it knows how to be scary, sad, sweet, etc. They use a variety of beautiful aesthetics and styles based on the genre/theme they stick to each time, and they do an excellent job at it. The story was remarkably interesting and well done, it attached me to the great characters and made me feel emotions. The story felt like the gift that kept on giving throughout the series. It left me wanting to watch more of it once I finished it, but also satisfied. It's recommended for those who like yuri, fantasy and/or magical girls.

Eromanga Sensei: Part 1

Very weird but hilarious

(Edit) Updated 10/06/2020

This is an essential if you want to know what a weird anime is like, and this anime is especially notorious. But that's one of the reasons why I like this series. If you exclude its weird morals, it's a light-hearted show, and the comedy is beyond satisfactory, so I easily enjoyed the characters shortly. The story is about a schoolboy who writes for a living to provide for him and his stepsister, who helps by illustrating his stories. Sounds simple and sweet, but it's a crazy and daring series, so expect things to get weird very quickly. In fact, watch it alone first before introducing it to others.

Paniponi Dash

Creative, crazy, and funny

(Edit) Updated 10/06/2020

Pani Poni Dash was great. The show is very random, so there's no need to take it seriously and focus on what's happening. It's one of those shows where you relax and get a laugh out of, regardless of what's happening. The cast is unique and they're the best part of the show because they drive the story. Its plots are also weird, and their concepts are sometimes generic for high school shows, but they manage to make the most out of them and twist it with their crazy characters. The music is great and original, and even convinced me to want their CDs. It's one of those crazy and random anime, and there are a lot of those, but this one is an honourable mention.
