I found this storyline in this series very compelling and enjoyed watching it. Whilst the dialogue is in French, the subtitles and my own understanding of the language were enough to enable me to easily follow what was going on.

I almost found myself shouting at the screen as I wanted to tell those who were working with the resistance not to trust a particular individual who was betraying them all.

Gripping stuff!

As a resident of Northern Ireland I was drawn to this film by its title. It wasn't at all what I expected but once I got used to the style I found it very interesting. The photography was particularly good.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this film but I like Kate Winslet so decided to give it a go. Overall I found the storyline rather strange. There were elements of both drama and comedy which were a bit difficult to follow at times.

I didn't have the chance to see this at the cinema so was really looking forward to it. I wasn't disappointed. The characters were strong and Saoirse Ronan was brilliant. I would definitely recommend this.

It is some time since the House of Elliott was on television and, whilst it now comes across as slightly dated, I have very much enjoyed revisiting this series. Easy to watch with strong characters and a good story line.
