I had this as a four star at the beginning with lots of promise, but I thought it slid quickly into predictable scenes and schmaltz. The acting seemed weak, which probably didn't help, but then the plot - to my mind - didn't really give the cast much to get their teeth into. Disappointing.

I'm a bit addicted to 3D and this made very good use of that. But even for me it was a little CGI heavy and would have benefited from judicious editing. Shorter, tighter, and with the CGI playing an adjunctive role rather than a primary one, it would have been a five star film for me.
