I enjoyed this film. It was a peaceful an interesting watch. The pace is slow- it is a film about mindfullness after all! - the insights into the Buddhist beliefs were great and how they live and how some of the young monks did express boredom with repetitive tasks in the kitchen. Cumberbatch was a bit annoying as narrator but the story he told was really lovely and I like the sentiments it expressed. Cinematography very pleasant in rural France.
