this film got good reviews when it came out at the cinema but they must have been watching a different film - i thought it was crass and unfunny - I wanted to like it but it was just no good - turned it off before the end

rubbish - bad sound quality, terrible acting and the plot is hopeless - amateur night out - avoid at all costs

As a psychotherapist I watched most of this through my fingers as, in my opinion, it in no way truly represented the relationship between therapist and client - I found it to be cliched, cringe-making and with no dramatic tension whatsoever.

I had heard good things about this series, released on HBO. The reality was, for me, very disappointing - I found it dated, cliche-ridden with a clunky plotline. The acting is awful and at times it felt like the whole thing was a send up but unfortunately I think they were playing it for real.
