- Synopsis:
- Deep below the streets of London, descending past Temple tube in the beating heart of the city, lies a dark secret. An illegal clinic has been set up in an abandoned subterranean network of tunnels. Daniel (Mark Strong) is a surgeon driven by personal tragedy to treat anyone who is willing to pay for medical help outside the system. Aided by Lee (Daniel Mays), a disgruntled transport employee, and Anna (Carice van Houten) a guilt-ridden medical researcher, they treat a variety of increasingly desperate and highly dangerous patients, as Daniel's morality is tested to the limit.

What's to like here? - Temple: Series 1 review by MD
Watched 3 episodes and lost the will to live. Over complicated yarn jumping all over the place. A doctor tries to save his wife's life after she is refused treatment. He fakes her death and keeps her in a coma in an underground clinic where he makes a living treating criminals. Really?

No likeable characters: no empathy - Temple: Series 1 review by RC
Gave up after the third episode. You're not rooting for anyone, even the central character, who should be able to garner some sympathy. Storylines aren't even interesting.
