- An American widow arrives in the Mexican town of Bastard in a Black Hearse, which contains an empty coffin. She is searching for the killer of her husband who she intends to have killed and take back to the States in the coffin. All she has to go on is the name Aguila. But she is not the only one searching for him, a Colonel in the Mexican army also intends to find him, and take him to Mexico City and execute him. Only one man stands in their way, a local priest, but is he more than he appears...
