- Synopsis:
- Allo Allo is a British comedy series about the staff and patrons of a small town cafe in Nazi occupied France during the 2nd world war. The series follows Rene Artois (Gordon Kaye), the owner and head waiter at his cafe, one frequently visited by both the resistance and German officers making life very hard for Rene. Rene tries to keep his distance and stay out of their conflict but finds himself frequently sucked in by either side as he just tries to get back to his cafe safely and through the war unscathed.
