Rent As Time Goes By: Series 3 (1994)

In the early 1950s, Jean, a student nurse, and Lionel, a young army officer meet and fall in love. 38 years later, their paths cross again. Older and wiser, neverless they discover that though love has a different pace and priorities, the heat of old flames can still be rekindled. Jean and Lionel have reached the point in their relationship where it seems natural to move in together - that is, if they can agree on who is going to do the moving. Meanwhile Rocky is getting married, Jean is branching out and Alistair is working on furthering Lionel's career.
