Attack on Fortress Europe (2005)

Documentaries recounting the historic D-Day landings on the 6th of June, 1944. Using archive film from the George Stevens Collections at the Library of Congress, 'D-Day: Codename Overlord' tells the story of the combined land, air and sea operation and the lengths taken to ensure its success. 'Geronimo' tells the story of the elite United States Airborne Division, who provided crucial support at many of WWII's greatest battles, including Anzio and the Battle of the Bulge. Through interviews and personal recollections, the veterans provide a fascinating glimpse of what life was like for the front-line troops.
