- Synopsis:
- Tony Clark (Neil Pearson) is caught between a rock and a hard place. A successful detective based at Mulberry Street Police Station, he is looking forward to possible promotion to the Flying Squad, when his career suddenly takes a turn in a new and unwelcome direction. An informant contacts the Complaints Investigation Bureau (CIB) at Scotland Yard, alleging serious corruption at Mulberry Street. An unwilling Clark is pulled in to help catch whoever is responsible, in effect spying on his friends and colleagues. Disliked by uncooperative officers, and mistrusted by a cynical public, Clark and his team find themselves truly between the lines...
