Bill Frisell: The Disfarmer Project

American jazz guitarist Bill Frisell performs live tracks from his 2009 album 'Disfarmer'. Many of the songs were inspired by Mike Disfarmer's portraits,taken in the 1930s,of various members of the community in his hometown of Heber Springs,Arkansas. The photographs are displayed throughout the performance.
