- Based on an incredible true story, "Boca" follows one man's rise from the streets to become a crime lord in Brazil's most notorious district, the Boca. The Time: The Fifties. The Place: Sao Paulo, Brazil, a city where nightclubs, strip joints, prostitution, drink and drugs are in plentiful supply. After the violent death of his father a young man, Hiroito, makes the fateful choice to buy two guns and walk into a life of violent crime...rising through murder, pimping and drug dealing to be a feared and brutal gang boss.
