Def Jux: Revenge of the Robots (2002)

A hybrid of documentary film and concert footage, this fascinating program showcases the artists and people behind the music at hip-hop record label Definitive Jux. First up is an hourlong "diary" chronicling the titular 2002 road tour featuring headliners El-P, RJD2 and Mr. Lif. Also included is performance footage from gigs at New York City's Bowery Ballroom and San Francisco's Great American Music Hall, plus five cool music videos.
