Synopsis:
Fashionable Manhattan therapist Dr. Robert Elliott (Michael Caine) faces the most terrifying moment of his life, when a psychotic killer begins attacking the women in his life (Angie Dickinson and Nancy Allen) - with a straight razor stolen from his office. Desperate to find the murderer before anyone else is hurt, Elliott is soon drawn into a dark and disturbing world of chilling desires. And as the doctor edges closer to the terrible truth, he finds himself lost in a provocative and deadly maze of obsession, deviance and deceit - where the most harmless erotic fantasies… can become the most deadly sexual nightmares!

Can't believe I was watching the same film as the previous reviewer - Dressed to Kill review by MH

Spoiler Alert

This is just awful. The scenes which supposedly were meant to build suspense were just too long drawn out and became boring. It didn't involve me at all. Angie Dickinson gurns instead of acting, and has little sex appeal compared to Nancy Allen. Michael Caine must be really embarrassed now by his wooden turn, especially considering what a first-rate actor he is. Watch anything else with him in it, but do give this a miss. Terribly dated.

Classic 70'S thriller - Dressed to Kill review by Spoons

Spoiler Alert
18/03/2018

Brian De Palma's Dressed To Kill still stands up today as a sizziling piece of film making. Most people know the story but if for some reason this has passed you by then I urge you to check it out. It has all the classic De Palma ingredients, eroticism, set pieces, split screen and a haunting score. Angie Dickinson oozes sex appeal in the little screen time she has. Michael Caine is....well, Michael Caine and Nancy Allen looks terrific. 70's cinema at it's best.
