Synopsis:
A fairy tale comes to life in this thoroughly original, new Disney Classic. Drawing inspiration from its classic heritage, Disney creates an inspired story unlike any you've experienced before. Filled with excitement, fun, and incredible music from the legendary Alan Menken, "Enchanted" is the ultimate fish-out-of-water adventure. For princess-to-be Giselle, life is a fairy tale - until she's banished from the animated land of Andalasia and thrust into the very unmagical, live-action world of modern-day Manhattan. When a cynical, no-nonsense divorce lawyer comes to her aid, little does he realize that this joyful, wide-eyed innocent is about to enchant him.

Fantastic film for all ages to enjoy! - Enchanted review by CP Customer

Spoiler Alert
28/08/2008

What can I say, I loved this film the minute I saw it in the cinema and I could not wait to watch it again, I must definitely purchase it soon. Without giving the premise away, the film starts off like the old Disney films, but soon the animation turns into live action. The cast is filled with stars that you will know, with the not so well known Amy Adams who is definitely an actress to watch out for. Her performance is a delight to watch, and she wonderfully mimics how animated Disney princesses act. The (few) songs are catchy and memorable (I now own the soundtrack!) I cannot recommend this film enough, it is perfect as a comfort film and will definitely be enjoyed by families and fans of the older Disney films!

A Guilty Pleasure - Enchanted review by CP Customer

Spoiler Alert

This is one of those films you really shouldn't enjoy, but Disney has infused Enchanted with some of its powerful magic. Jumping from the perfect world of a cartoon into modern day New York. These characters are oblivious to the real-life limitations that they now face. Amy Adams is sickly sweet in the lead role, but has a real charm and positivity that rubs off on anyone who watches Enchanted. Highly recommended to all.

Hugely enjoyable film, funny, touching and original storyline. Amy Adams shows her great acting credentials as Gisele, totally convincing as an innocent, caring and happy soul. Thoroughly enjoyable.
