Synopsis:
Second volume of the anime TV series created by Takashi Nakamura. In this instalment,Detective Cooks has Alice listen to a recording left behind by a scientist named Radcliffe. On the recording Radcliffe talks about the extensive, but ultimately fruitless, research he conducted on a piece of stone called 'the Fragment',and he details his insanely obsessive search for any information connected to the Children of Befort. Meanwhile,Helga and Chitto have come to stay with Thoma and his family at their home. Thoma's mother and father are very kind to them and they come to understand the warmth of a family. Elsewhere, the Children of Befort at long last come across some information leading to Helga.
But at the same time they learn of a man named Kirchner who has escaped from the Ged Group and is able to emit a mysterious light called 'Orsel' from his body. Aghi and the others realise how dangerous the situation is,and quickly take off in pursuit...
