- Hot on the heels of her Cannes Film Festival success with Provincial Actors, Polish filmmaker Agnieszka Holland put together the equally accomplished The Fever. Holland used the Andrzej Strug novel The Story of One Bomb as a springboard for an impassioned plea for freedom of expression and an indictment of government-advocated violence.
