- Synopsis:
A much-loved success throughout its three-year run on ITV, 'Follyfoot' was based on an idea by novelist Monica Dickens. Complemented by one of the catchiest theme tunes ever recorded, this enchanting series starred Gillian Blake, Steve Hodson and Christian Rodska as the trio of workers at a retirement home for old or unwanted horses. Adapted by Francis Stevens, Jennifer Stuart and Producer Audley Southcott the episodes were directed by, among others, Stephen Frears (The Queen), Michael Apted (7 Up) and Vic Hughes (Ace of Wands). Dora (Gillian Blake), a sad and lonely girl, suffers a terrifying experience during her first evening in the countryside. It opens her eyes to something new and leads her to start life a fresh - at 'Follyfoot'. - Actors:
