Synopsis:: David Sutcliffe, TV cameraman, celebrates 40 years filming railways, with his programme 'Full Steam to Holyhead'. His films of now forgotten slate railways and branch lines in North Wales have appeared in several videos. Broadcast quality equipment has brought enhanced quality to the pictures, accompanied only by sound recorded at fifty different locations between Crewe and Holyhead. This all action programme features 4472, 5407, 6201, 34027, 60009 and 71000 etc., at speed and at many scheduled and unscheduled stops. Many trains are seen against the magnificent North Wales scenery, sea and mountains, bridges and castles.
