All that Sandra Clayton (Kate Jackson) wants is a quiet, safe life for herself and her children. But then she discovers that her new boss, Sam Caldwell (Dean Stockwell), is a ruthless criminal with an empire built on drug-dealing, prostitution, blackmail and corruption, and she is forced to risk her livelihood, her family and, ultimately, her life to bring him down. A friend of Sandra's is brutally raped and Sandra is faced with a terrifying choice: to become part of Caldwell's team or become his next victim.
