Hard Fought Road to the East German Grenadier and Tank Divisions (2011)

Historical documentary which explores the efforts of German soldiers during World War II. The programme focuses on the tactics used by Nazi troops during battle, and examines the army's strengths and weaknesses. Both sides relied heavily upon rigorous analysis of the opposition, and used information garnered about their enemies to make calculated military decisions. The programme takes a cross-section of the German Heer's units during their time on the road, and also features long-lost footage found in German archives.
