Heidi is the spirited little girl whose sweet disposition wins the hearts of everyone around her. Heidi lives with her grandfather in the beautiful mountains of Switzerland, where she loves playing with her shepherd friend Peter, and frolicking in the meadow with the goats. She is such a bright and happy girl that she even manages to turn her grandfather from a bitter old hermit into a kind and loving man. Then one day Heidi's aunt takes her away from the mountains to live in the city with a family whose crippled daughter, Klara, needs a companion. Heidi misses her grandfather and her home, and everything she does seems to get her into trouble with her stern governess. But Heidi doesn't give up, and before long her positive attitude wins everyone over, as she even takes Klara to visit her mountain home and helps her learn to walk! - Directors:
