Matron announces to Hetty that the future of all Foundlings is in her hands. In this, the third series of the popular CBBC drama, we follow Hetty's battle to take control of her life. With humour, passion and imagination, Hetty endeavours to find out what Matron has planned: only to discover something more surprising and frightening than anyone expected. Hetty looks for help on the streets of London but is chased by Matron's villainous friend, Brunsden. Back at the Hospital, Hetty and her gang hide stolen goods; save a man from being wrongly arrested; confront a blackmailer; unite two lovers; and uncover a case of poisoning.
