Murder at Berkeley Castle
Charles Berkeley wants us to solve the mystery of the last jester's death at his family seat. The story goes that one evening, in the early 18th Century, the Berkeley's and their guests, including the Earl o Suffolk's jester, were having dinner in the Great Hall when the 60 year old jester, Dicky Pearce, topple from the minstrels' gallery to his death. Can they solve a murder mystery nearly 300 years old?
The Hunt for The Lost Railway
Barrie Lamb is from Darlington, birthplace of the railways. He shares the name of a local railwa celebrity, John Lamb, who was an engine driver in the 19th century, and who was so loved that monument was erected in his honour. Barrie has long suspected that John was his great-grandfather so he wants Jonathan, Miranda and Nick to find out if they really are related, and why he was s revered by his community.
The Man With Two Tombs
Every week when Matthew Silverman sings at St Mary's Redcliffe Church in Bristol he sees two tomb for the same man - William Canynges. He wants to find out why one person would have two tombs.
