Hollywood Icons: James Dean / Marilyn Monroe (1988)

Two volume showcase of two of the biggest names in Hollywood history. The first part features the documentary, 'Forever James Dean' (1988), and the original trailers for 'Giant' (1956), 'East of Eden' (1955) and 'Rebel Without a Cause' (1955). The second part presents an intimate portrait of Marilyn Monroe through a collection of clips that include trailers for classic movies such as 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes' (1953) and 'Some Like It Hot' (1959); newsreel footage of important events in her life and studio performances of songs such as 'Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend' and 'I Wanna be Loved by You'.
