John Thaw and Reece Dinsdale star as father and prodigal son in this sparkling ITV comedy classic from the pen of Eric Chappell (Rising Damp). Henry Willow's staid, comfortable life as a divorcee is rudely shattered by his 17-year-old son Matthew turning up unannounced on his doorstep. Henry hasn't seen him for seven years -not since the divorce proceedings where Matthew kicked him in the shins and ran off to live with his mother and her new 'fancy man'. Now Matthew's had a row with his step-dad and wants to come to live with his real dad instead.
