Synopsis:
As the lazy summer days drift endlessly on in the peaceful Yorkshire countryside, we see our old friend Foggy return to the Holmfirth fold, bringing with him a whole host of brand-new, hair-brained ideas. But it won't be long before he discovers that much is still the same hereabouts. In fact he need only look at Compo - the village's oldest teenager - as he bravely stands in for Captain Zero, the human cannonball, enthusiastically takes up pole-vaulting to help Nora Batty hang out her washing, and knocks the socks off a local TV reporter with his legendary Maurice Chevalier impression. In Holmfirth, it was ever thus...
