Synopsis:
Considered a key figure in the transition from rhythm and blues to rock and roll in the 1950's, Little Richard helped lay the foundation for rock and roll music and influenced generations of rhythm and blues, rock and soul music artists. He has influenced giants such as James Brown, Bob Dylan, and Jimi Hendrix, Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, John Fogerty, Bob Seger and David Bowie. Captured on film by the legendary music director D.A.
Pennebaker, here is the ultimate and outrageous Wildman himself in a 1969 concert at Toronto's Rock and Roll Revival, tearing through such infamous Richard classics as ''Lucille", ''Good Golly Miss Molly'', ''Tutti Frutti'', ''Long Tall Sally'' and more. The classic standing on the piano and throwing his jewelry, shoes and even his toga to the screaming audience is all featured on this video.
