Why? - Magic Magic review by KL

Spoiler Alert

"Hey," cries one of the characters in this film (about 23 minutes in), "why don't we watch a movie or something?"

I feel much the same way after 100 odd minutes.

What's with the hate? - Magic Magic review by CP Customer

Spoiler Alert

This film is probably one of the best depictions of paranoia i have ever seen. There's great bits of cinematography to show the character's distorted perception of all the events going on around her and how she is seeing them. Would you expect anything else from Christopher Doyle? All the characters are relatalbe to a degree and the acting is fantastic from everyone. It has moments that are uncomfortable which I think are on purpose. My guess why people don't like this film is becuase is because they think they're getting a slasher which this is not. Seriously, don't be put off by the bad user reviews on IMDB.
