- Synopsis:
The second gripping season of hit crime drama Major Crimes sees the team working overtime to untangle the most challenging cases they've ever faced. But working to rid L.A.'s streets of the worst kind of criminal is only part of the equation, as the team faces more personal and professional struggles than ever while they continue to make deals and crack cases. Captain Sharon Raydor (Mary McDonnell) continues to balance her role as team leader with her often controversial let's-make-a-deal approach to putting criminals behind bars. The captain faces a new issue with the arrival of Deputy D.A. Emma Rios (Nadine Velazquez), who wants to see teenager Rusty Beck (Graham Patrick Martin), a witness in an important murder case, removed from Raydor's protective custody. And the captain's life gets even more problematic with the sudden reappearance of her down-and-out estranged attorney husband (Tom Berenger).
