Synopsis:
Dereck and Beverly Joubert are award-winning filmmakers from Botswana, and National Geographic Explorers in Residence. Their mission is the conservation and understanding of the large predators and key African wildlife species that determine the course of all conservation in Africa. They have been filming, researching, and exploring in Africa for over 25 years as filmmaking for them has always been a way to bring the message of conservation to a worldwide audience. All their efforts, over a lifetime, all coincide with one aim: to rehabilitate the environment and return vast tracts of land to nature and to protect the wild creatures that depend on it.

Big Cat Odyssey
Following Dereck and Beverly on their quest to document the behaviour of big cats in Botswana, this film brings together three decades worth of material. See the numerous changes that have led to dramatic decline of the lion population and what needs to be done in order to ensure their survival.
Lions of Darkness
Rarely before has the drama of life on the wild plains of Africa been portrayed more intimately than in this remarkable film. It is the story of a growing lion pride in Botswana that begins as three young, aggressive outsiders invade the pride's territory and remove its aged leader.
