- Synopsis:
Peep Show follows the private world of Mark (David Mitchell) and Jeremy (Robert Webb), two flat-mates living in south London. Mark and Jeremy are a pair of ordinary weirdos. Mark is the sensible one - a credit manager whose most outlandish dreams are a minor promotion and to perform successful sexual intercourse. Jeremy is the loose cannon - a lazy waster with dodgy friends - who dreams of becoming a musician but can never get his act together. Still sharing a flat in post-credit crunch Croydon, there is a whiff of desperation about Mark and Jeremy. Having discovered that Sophie (Olivia Colman) is pregnant they have to face up to the possibility that either one of them might be a father. How will this affect Mark's pursuit of Dobby (Isy Suttie) ? And will it help or hinder Jeremy as he falls for his dream woman, dope-dealing-musician -activist Elena (Vera Filatova)? The series also sees Super Hans become a man with a van ('Get a van too Jez, we could be men with ven') and Jeremy own up to watching porn to save a friend from humiliation at work (‘I took the w* * k bullet’), while Mark discovers the truth about what it is like to work closely with Johnson (Paterson Joseph), the boss he worships. - Actors:
