- Synopsis:
- Nick Broomfield's early film sees him travel to Fort Georgia to follow the lives of a number of female inductees as they go through Basic Army training. It soon becomes apparent some are far less suited to the rigorously regimented lifestyle than others and in a burgeoning style which he would hone over several of his subsequent films, Broomfield expertly zeroes in on only the most intriguing, bizarre, confrontational and endearing figures in the group - often including those in charge.
