The Day Before (2009)

Series of documentaries following fashion designers in the 36 hours before a show. Putting on a fashion show requires a great amount of care and coordination. As the deadline approaches, the demands on designers are extreme as they try to resolve any last minute issues that appear and ensure that everything runs smoothly. This series follows designers such as Jean-Paul Gaultier, Sonia Rykiel, Karl Lagerfield (of the fashion house Fendi) and the designers behind the New York label, Proenza Schouler, as they try to put everything together before time runs out.
