- Armed with a multitude of crazy inventions, and alongside his eccentric allies Colonel Dedshott, (Simon Day) Mrs. Flittersnoop (Vicki Pepperdine) and young apprentice Connie, Branestawm, the original mad professor, takes on scheming businessman Mr. Bullimore (Ben Miller) and officious local councillor Harold Haggerstone, (David Mitchell) to try and stop their plans to bulldoze his workshop to make way for a giant munitions factory, right in the middle of town.

Kept me entertained - The Incredible Adventures of Professor Branestawm review by RL
I've not read the books so cannot compare them but I thought it was a good fun film. I didn't really laugh that much but I smiled a lot. A few well known faces appear so keep an eye out. Just the right length at an hour, kept me entertained. Apparently there is a sequel!
