Synopsis:
Regarded by action aficionados as ranking alongside the very finest films cult martial arts hero Sonny Chiba produced during his 70s heyday, The Killing Machine features some of the most expertly executed fight sequences ever committed to celluloid. Loosely based on the real life Doshin So, the founder of a specialist form of martial arts combat, the film features Chiba as Soh, a former Japanese secret service agent who returns to a country in disarray after World War II. Exacting revenge on two Americans who run over a young boy, Soh is sentenced to prison but later emerges as an avenging angel who is prepared to take on the local gangsters and dispense his own brand of justice.
Earning Chiba comparisons with Bruce Lee for his combination of charm and ruthless physical efficiency, The Killing Machine is a thrilling action flick that takes no prisoners.
