In the vein of a Hitchcockian thriller, 'The Man Next Door' tells the story of a young woman's fight to overcome mental illness in order to escape the blade of a serial killer. Using an abandoned house as her playground, Vivian's (Laura Lael Ellis) dreams revolve around one person; the teenage boy who lived next door years ago - her knight in shining armor...until one day the boy returns home as a man.
