- BAFTA winning comedy about the Slough paper-merchant where life is stationary...David Brent (Ricky Gervais) is a petty, pompous boss who thinks he's the funniest, most popular man in the world. Pedantic jobs worth Gareth (Mackenzie Crook) agrees with him. They're both wrong. What can you say that hasn't already been said about 'The Office', it's comedy gold and even renting this nine years after it was first broadcast it was still just as funny and just a clever as the first time I watched it.
