Rent The Rag Trade (1961 - 1963)

The Rag Trade is a classic British comedy series about a group of female workers in a textile factory and the men that find it hard to manage them. The series follows Harold (Peter Jones) and his foreman Reg (Reg Varney) as they try to manage the factory but find themselves impeded by Paddy (Miriam Karlin), a woman who has no problem causing trouble. Paddy takes advantage of the loyalty of the other ladies to manipulate Harold and make his life difficult, something she takes great pride in as she threatens to strike at the smallest problem.
