- Based on the real-life serial killers who inspired Badlands and Natural Born Killers, The Sadist is an uncompromising thriller packed with tension and terror. A car carrying three teachers breaks down on the way to a ball game, whereupon they become hostage to a pair of sociopathic teenagers - thrill-killers whose twisted desire is to abuse and abase. Forced to submit to the maniacal whims of their captors, the film follows the warped games played by the two delinquents as the teachers try to buy enough time to escape with their lives.
