Over the course of a week 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' eats his way through increasing quantites of food before becoming quite ilL. and then something magical happens; in 'Papa, Please Get the Moon for Me', Monica asks her father if she can hold the moon and he tries to grant her wish; next 'The Very Quiet Cricket' wants to say "Hello" hut he can't - not until he meets another cricket anyway.
