American star guests are folk titan James Taylor, Rosanne Cash, Allison Moorer, Martha Wainwright, Dan Tyminski and fiddle virtuoso Stuart Duncan. From Ireland come singers Mairéad Ni Mhaonaigh, Karan Casey and Liam Ó Maonlai and the great Dónal Lunny (bouzouki), Dezi Donnelly (fiddle) and Niall Vallely (concertina). Keeping the flag of Scotland flying are Julie Fowlis, Karen Matheson, Emily Smith, Jenna Reid, James Graham, and the extraordinary Allan MacDonald. House Band members are Russ Barenberg (guitar/mandolin) and Todd Parks (bass) from Nashville, Ronan Browne and Mike McGoldrick (pipes and whistles) from Ireland, Scots Phil Cunningham and Donald Shaw (accordion and keyboards), James Mackintosh (percussion), and the legendary Danny Thompson (bass).
