- Synopsis:
- Lankan army troops are running riot in the Mattakalappu district of Sri Lanka, and one of their victims is 13-year old Punitha (Neenika), who falls pregnant after being raped by a gang of soldiers. She and her mother are offered refuge by Professor Natesan (Sathyaraj) and his wife Nirmala (Sangeetha), but their home proves not to be the safe haven Punitha and her mother had hoped for.
