In 9th century Britain, a land infected by corruption and greed, a young Anglo-Saxon woman called Orlath finds her quiet world is completely upturned when a Viking death squad in search of legendary sacred scrolls attack the monastery where she lives. Forced to flee, Orlath successfully evades capture and in her bid for solace meets a lone, wounded Viking called Sven - the son of the evil King Alfarr. In the midst of their quest for safety they form an unlikely alliance. Unable to return to his Viking comrades through fear of redemption - after accidentally slaying his brother - the two outcasts race across the land fighting off enemies side by side. Hell-bent on their capture and hot on their trail is Alfarr. Enraged with the belief his son's new lover holds the key to the whereabouts of the seven sacred scrolls and with the promise of power and prosperity to those who possess them, will Orlath and Sven escape with their lives, or will violence and greed prevail. - Actors:
