Synopsis:
One in a series of titles covering true life experiences, this title covers the topics of demonic possession and the origins of evil.

Demonic Possessions
Possession: The idea that some primitive force could invade the soul and overpower it. We have buried the idea of possession under layers of logic and science. In our world it is still the stuff of nightmares, but in ancient times it was an everyday reality, and a belief shared by entire communities. Popular belief was that demons caused mental illness, and the power to cast out demons was greatly revered. Possession is at once a terrifying and fascinating subject, and has made its way into out culture in the form of countless motion pictures and novels. It seems that even in today's hi-tech we are still unable to understand demonic possession.
Origins of Evil
Since the beginning of time man has struggled with the concept of good and evil. He both embraced and feared nature, reaping its bounty and suffering at the hands of an unpredictable wrath. These were attributed to ancient forces of good and evil. This was to be the very beginning of religion, and the belief in the existence of God. According to the bible Satan and his demons were once angels. A magnificently beautiful archangel called Lucifer, meaning 'light bearer' lead a legion of rebel angels against God. A vicious battle ensued, and Gods army was victorious. As the revel angels fell, they were transformed into demons, and Lucifer was transformed into the beast named Satan. Are the origins of evil just a story, or is there an ancient and long hidden truth that has yet to be discovered.
