- White Heat charts the lives of seven friends from 1965, when they first come together as students to live as flatmates in Tufnell Park, to the present day when they are reunited once again by the death of one of the seven. But which one remains a mystery. Spanning the last four decades of the past century, we see how their relationships, turbulent loves, betrayals and choices impact on each other. Their stories play out against a backdrop of political and historical events; destinies shaped by class, family, religion, race and sexuality as they pursue their lives and strive to fulfil all those early hopes and dreams.
