You need a strong constitution to watch this tale of insidious and systematic abuse very well acted but pretty hard going

Really enjoyed this as a Francophile it has some interesting takes on relationships and you might laugh when you think you shouldn't. Not sure what it has to say about men most of tge male characters are very flawed but so are the women but in different ways. Not so 'hopeless'

The film starts in a humorous way and looks very 'eighties' and feels it. However the story develops and has many things to say about social values, it ends rather like is started but you feel you have been on a deeper journey.
