School of Rock
Great for kids to learn about ROCK !
A great fun film and useful if you want you have young kids (8-10 year olds) and want them to learn more about popular music too as the sound track is 1st Class !
Scooby Doo and the Goblin King
OK for younger kids
Good for younger kids but it does have some sad parts. My 4 year old broke her heart and cried - "PAT's GOT NO FRIENDS" .
There is a sub plot of the evils of capitalism and the X Factor system of exploitation and manipulation of it's contestants however I think my 4 year old missed this.
Chicken Run
Chickens go in.... Pies come out !
A great fun - my kids love this. As with all the Ardmann films the detail in the background is amazing with loads of puns and jokes to see. This makes re-watching the film very enjoyable.
It is of course a kind off re-telling of the classic war movie / prison camp film "The Great Escape" and I recommend watching this too if your kids are old enough. We did this and we now enjoy both films all the more. Recommended !
