this is a great david and gloiath style film about one womans fight to end sex discrimination in her workplace. although dated in its preceived views it really does hit the mark. there are underlying disturbing violent and biggoted undertones. some of the things you see are mind boggling. glad i dont work in the mining industry.....
this little film takes you from highs to lows. A teacher interested in communism takes his family off to GDR. the moment when he burns the british passports is a bit cringeworthy as life unfolds and the wife realise everything will change and things may nvever seem the same. passion, drama and definitely edge of your seat giggles.
retro 1970s (or is it 80s) back to the old style nighbour drinks party. hostess who cant seem to stop putting her foot in it. guests who really dont want to be thee. undercurrents of drama and intrigue. and some cool 70s kitchen tiles to boot. what more could you want. its so cheesy and dire it gets compelling. bear with it as its slow to start.
a bit disappointing. the women looked like professioals and it was hard to believe it was all amateurs up for fun. they all seem to do it in the same car park. not much up close photography so all a bit hazy as to the action. some saucy bits bit marred by the rest of it really.
